Hey! We are the fifth Board of AIM. Our main goals for this special Lustrum year are to create an AIM community feeling amongst our members, build a stable structure for AIM’s future and continue the professionalization of the organization. If you want to know more about us, scroll down and read our individual introductions!
Chair – Valentina van Drooge
Hi there! I’m Valentina and I’ll be AIM’s chair for this year. I keep an overview of everything that is AIM related and make sure that we keep representing our members’ interests. Also, I stay in touch with the PPLE administration, so that they know what AIM’s up to and that we know what they are up to. When I’m not busy doing stuff for AIM, you can find me in a theatre, watching some play or dance, doing something with my friends (on those rare sunny Amsterdam days preferably in a park) or dancing and singing along to songs in my room, hoping my roommates won’t hear me. If you have any questions, or just want to chat, don’t hesitate to come up to me if you see me in the PPLE building, PM me on Facebook or send me an email: email@example.com
Secretary – Manon Michelotti
Hi everyone! I’m Manon, I’m a third year PPLE-student in the psychology major and I’m incredibly excited to have been selected for the AIM Board 18/19! As the Secretary, I will be in charge of the communication, administration and promotion of AIM. By combining my experience as the Secretary of AIM Travel and my fabulous organizational skills with some Italian passion and charm, I hope to fulfill a clear and approachable communicative function within the association. This year, I aspire to contribute to the association’s visibility and professionalization. Feel free to contact me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org!

If you have any questions or ideas feel free to come up to me, message me on Facebook or through firstname.lastname@example.org!
Internal Commissioner Study – Johannes Grimmelt
My name is Johannes and I am going to be on the AIM-Board 18/19. As the new internal commissioner for everything that is study related, I will especially focus on the academic side of AIM. As we enter into our Lustrum year, it is my priority to work on establishing a lasting structure within the association. Our great committees are the centerpieces of AIM and it will be my pleasure to make sure that they have everything they need to organize exciting events. Aside from AIM, I try to be a good PPLE-student and enjoy spending quality time with my friends. Please feel free to approach me (either in person or via email@example.com) if you have any questions, you want to get involved or you just want to know how we make AIM so amazing.
External Commissioner – Loek Mathies
Hola! I am Loek Mathies, a 19 years old PPLE politics student from the beautiful city of Utrecht, and I will be AIM’s External Commissioner this year. In my free time I like to do any sort of sports that involve a board and water, go travelling and just spend time with friends. In the upcoming year I will intensify AIM’s relations with other (international) student associations in Amsterdam, so that you will also get to know people outside of the PPLE bubble. Besides other student associations, I will also intensify current relations and start new relations with companies and NGO’s that will benefit all our members. I know I speak for all of us when I say that we will do our best in making this year a very successful one for AIM! If you have anything you would like to say to me or discuss with me, don’t hesitate to send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
